The Launch of The New Jet Shows How Honda Aircraft Always Strives to Stay Ahead of The Competition in Technology, Safety, Comfort, and Performance

Nothing is so good that it can’t be improved! The HondaJet Elite, the aircraft that flies faster, higher, and farther than its category (light jets), has just gotten even better! Honda Aircraft Company revealed that its new success, the HondaJet Elite II, brings innovations that enhance its performance, safety, comfort, design, and significantly increase the level of automation. All of this, without losing its position as the most economical and eco-friendly among light jets.

The #aircraft features an increased 1,547 nm range with 4 occupants. It continues @Honda's journey of automation with the additions of Autothrottle and Emergency Autoland planned by the end of 2023.

“The HondaJet Elite II comes with an increased range of 1,547 nautical miles (2,865 km), 110 nautical miles (approximately 200 km) more than its predecessor.” highlights Anderson Markiewicz, Director of Aircraft Sales at Líder Aviação. “It is important to highlight that this model maintains the HondaJet characteristic of better fuel efficiency, with lower greenhouse gas emissions than other twin-engine jets of similar size,” points out Anderson.

“This launch shows how Honda Aircraft always strives to be ahead of the competition in technology, safety, comfort, and performance,” says Bruna Assumpção, Superintendent of Executive Maintenance Units, Chartering, Management, and Aircraft Sales at Líder Aviação. “The partnership we have with Honda Aircraft, as exclusive representatives of the HondaJet in Brazil, is fully aligned with Líder’s commitment to innovation and excellence,” adds Bruna.

The Safety of The Honda Jet Has Been Improved

The new model will be equipped with Autothrottle (Automatic Power Control) and also with Autoland capability (Autonomous Emergency Landing), further increasing the level of automation and safety of the aircraft and reducing the pilot’s workload. In addition to the Autoland system, the safety of the HondaJet has been enhanced with the advent of the ASAS system, which helps the pilot not only detect changes that may impair the stability of the aircraft and its flight path but also helps correct them.

There are also audible and visual warnings that are issued if there is any deviation from the planned approach to the airport. During landings, the implementation of ground spoilers – movable control surfaces located above the wings that contribute to greater braking efficiency during landing – optimizes the braking performance of the aircraft. Regarding the exterior design, the jet features a new bold paint scheme Black Edition.
