The agreement between the countries ensures simplified access to the scores of Brazilian students who wish to study abroad and enroll in undergraduate courses in Portugal. However, it’s important to emphasize that each institution sets its own rules and weight for using the scores.
Is There FIES to Study Abroad?
The agreements in Portugal for students wishing to study abroad do not provide for student financing by the Brazilian government. Additionally, the validation of diplomas and professional practice in Brazil for students who graduated in Portugal is subject to Brazilian legislation. The universities in Portugal that are part of the agreement are responsible for officially communicating these rules to candidates who are planning to study abroad in their courses.
