IEL Opens 1,000 Registration Slots for Its 2021 Internship Program Across Brazil. High School and Technical Students Can Apply

To Prepare Students, Whether in High School, Technical or Higher Education, for the Job Market, IEL is Offering More Than 1,000 Internship Positions Across Brazil, with Scholarships Up to R$ 1,6 Thousand.

Through the national internship program, the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) is offering 1,027 positions, which are distributed in 13 states and the Federal District. With scholarships of up to R$ 1,6 thousand, the positions are aimed at students enrolled in technical, higher education, and high school. The state with the highest number of internship positions is Santa Catarina, with 477 positions distributed across 10 municipalities. Following that, Bahia offers over 100 positions throughout the state.

Internship Law

Regulated by Law 11.788/2008, the Internship Law aims to promote the development and preparation of students, whether in High School, Technical or Higher Education. For this to happen, the intern is required to be enrolled in a regular or higher education institution.

It is worth noting that the internship may or may not be mandatory, depending on the curricular need of the stage, the pedagogical project, and the teaching modality. Thus, the internship will only be mandatory if stipulated by the institution for the purpose of degree placement. Generally, higher education institutions treat internships as mandatory.

About IEL

The Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) was created with the goal of bringing academic knowledge to companies. Another goal of IEL is to increase the competitiveness of the industry by developing management skills.

It was established in 1969 by the National Confederation of Industry. IEL started its activities with a proposal to bring students closer to assembly lines through internships.
