IEL opens 1.000 enrollments for its 2021 internship program across Brazil. High school and technical school students can apply

With the aim of preparing students, whether from secondary, technical or higher education, for the job market, IEL is offering more than 1.000 internship vacancies throughout Brazil, with grants of up to R$ 1,6.

Through the national internship program, the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) is offering 1.027 vacancies, which are distributed in 13 states and the Federal District. With grants of up to R$ 1,6, vacancies are aimed at students who are enrolled in technical, higher and secondary education. The state with the highest number of vacancies for internships is Santa Catarina, with 477 vacancies distributed in 10 municipalities. Soon after, comes Bahia, with more than 100 vacancies throughout the state.

Law of Internship

Regulated by law 11.788/2008, the Internship Law aims at the development and preparation of students, whether in high school, technical or higher education. For this to happen, the intern must, by obligation, be enrolled in a regular or higher education institution.

It is worth mentioning that the internship may or may not be mandatory, depending on the curricular needs of the stage, the pedagogical project and the modality of the teaching area. Therefore, the internship will only be mandatory if stipulated by the institution for degree placement. Generally, higher education colleges treat internship as mandatory.

About IEL

The Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL) was born with the aim of bringing academic knowledge to companies. Another objective of IEL is to increase the competitiveness of the industry, developing management skills.

It was created in 1969 by the National Confederation of Industry. IEL began its activities with a proposal to bring students closer to assembly lines through internships.
