How to Enroll in Free IFMA Courses?

To enroll in IFMA courses in São Luís, candidates must go to the Maracanã Campus, at the School Registration sector, on the 11th, 14th, and 15th. The registration hours are from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 2 PM to 5:30 PM.

At the time of registration, a Manifestation of Interest Form that IFMA has already made available on its website will be required. In the document, filling in information such as: Candidate’s Name, ID, CPF, Course, and Quota will be necessary. After the selection process, which will likely be done through a review of academic records, enrollments will occur from June 21 to June 25.

Created by Law 11.892, of December 29, 2008, IFMA aims to promote professional, technological, and scientific education for citizens both in São Luís and in other cities in Maranhão. The institution strives to be a center of excellence in research, teaching, and extension, recognized both nationally and internationally.

IFMA has 28 campuses, in addition to the Maracanã campus, and also three Educational Reference Centers, one Advanced Research Center in Environmental Sciences, and one Technological Reference Center.

The Institute offers free courses at basic, technical, undergraduate, and graduate levels to people of various ages, and also provides high school education for young people in an integrated form.
