IFMA is open for registration for free online courses. In total, there are 800 vacancies for short-term distance learning courses.

O Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Maranhão (IFMA) is open for registration for free online and distance learning courses. In total, there are 800 vacancies for free courses on Solid Waste Agent, Micro Business Management, Water and Effluent Treatment Operator and advanced Spanish. The distance learning courses also provide a certificate of completion, with 200 vacancies for each opportunity. 

Requirements to participate in IFMA's free online and distance learning courses

IFMA's free distance learning courses will be held at the Carolina Advanced Campus. To compete, interested parties must have completed elementary school. However, for the Advanced Spanish course, in addition to basic education, it is necessary to have an intermediate level in the language.

Registration for courses with an IFMA certificate can be completed until July 31st. The interested must fill out a form with Full Name, E-mail, Date of Birth, Telephone and attach files such as Identity Card (front and back), Voter title and Proof of discharge with the Electoral Justice, Proof of enrollment in the CPF, if the identity document has the CPF number, it will only be necessary to send the identity.

It will also be necessary, in the case of men over 18 years old, to send proof of discharge with the obligations of the Military Service, proof of schooling (documents with a higher title than required will be accepted), proof of residence issued in the last 3 months (account will be accepted electricity bill, telephone bill, water bill, cable TV bill, health plan bill, credit card bill and condominium slip).

Proof does not need to be in the candidate's name, Intermediate Spanish Certificate for candidates for the Advanced Spanish course and recent Photo 3×4.

IFMA selection process to join the free online and distance learning courses

To those interested, there will be no proof, and the selection process for the free distance learning courses at IFMA will be carried out through the analysis of documents, in order of enrollment.

This analysis will be carried out by each of the coordinators of the free online courses, Board of Educational Development and Coordinators of Technical Courses.

Candidates will be able to consult the result on the website, murals of the IFMA Campus Advanced Carolina and social networks on August 8th. This result is subject to appeal until the 9th. The publication of the result will take place on the 10th of August.

A Enrollment must be done online. from the 10th to the 31st of August. Those who do not comply with the procedure will lose their vacancy and surplus candidates will be called. Free online courses with certificate will take place from September 1st to December 23rd. Classes will be held in the Virtual Learning Environment, however, there is a possibility that the Google Meet platform will be used in some classes.

The workload of distance learning courses ranges from 80 to 200 hours, and the student can plan to attend classes when it is more convenient. The activities proposed in the classes have a delivery date that is also through the Virtual Learning Environment.
