IFNMG Has 380 Openings in Free Courses for 4 Different Campuses. The Free Technical Courses Are Available in Subsequent Modalities for Candidates with Completed High School and Concurrent for Those Still Enrolled in High School.
The Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG) announced on Friday (06) the opening of applications for free technical courses at the campuses of Janaúba, Januária, Montes Claros, and Pirapora. In total, the institution is offering 380 openings in free courses in the subsequent format, that is, for those who have already completed high school. There are also opportunities in the concurrent format, aimed at those who are in the 2nd or 3rd year of high school at another institution.

Enrollment for the selective process is completely free and can be done by filling out an electronic form available on the IBGP website until June 9. On the website, select the desired course and campus.

Take a free technical course at the Federal Institute: there are over 2,400 open spots in free technical courses such as Construction, Electrotechnics, Human Resources, Confectionery, and many other options; the opportunities are available online and in-person at IFSC.

Arauco opens 200 spots in a free course for drivers who want to obtain a CNH D; the Driver School project is a partnership between the Chilean company and the State Government and SEST SENAT.

Study at UFRJ without leaving home: 1,235 spots in EAD and blended undergraduate programs through CEDERJ.
You will need to register on the platform using your full name, Date of Birth, Mother’s Name, CPF, ID, Marital Status, Race, educational level, among others. It will also be necessary to attach your school transcript or an equivalent document such as a Certificate or declaration as required in the notice.
Understand How the Selective Process Will Work for Free Technical Courses
According to IFNMG, there will be no exams and candidates will be evaluated based on their school performance, that is, through grades or concepts obtained in subjects and grades that vary according to the desired course and must be proven by a school transcript or equivalent document.
For the Concurrent Free Technical Courses, selection will occur based on school performance in the subjects taken in Elementary School II, in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, with grades assigned to each subject, applied to their respective weights.
For the subsequent technical courses, the process for the free courses will occur based on school performance in the subjects taken in the 1st year of high school, with the grade assigned to that year, applied to its respective weight.
It is worth noting that the list of enrolled students will be released on June 23 and on June 24, the preliminary results will be published. Candidates will have from June 24 to 25 to appeal against the preliminary results, and the final results will be announced on June 28. Enrollment is scheduled to begin on June 29.
