IFNMG has 380 vacancies in free courses for 4 different campuses. The free technical courses are available in subsequent modalities for candidates with complete high school and concurrently for those who are still in high school.
The Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG), announced on Friday (06), the opening of enrollment for technical courses free on the campuses of Janaúba, Januária, Montes Claros and Pirapora. In total, the institution is offering 380 places in free courses in the subsequent form, that is, for those who have already completed high school. There are also opportunities in the concurrent form, which is aimed at those who are attending the 2nd or 3rd year of high school at another institution.

Registration for the selection process is completely free and can be done by completing an electronic form available at IBGP website until the 9th of June. On the website, select the desired course and campus.
It will be necessary to register on the platform using full name, date of birth, mother's name, CPF, identity, marital status, race, level of education, among others. It will also be necessary to attach the school transcript or equivalent document as a Certificate or declaration in accordance with the model required in the public notice.
Understand how the selection process for free technical courses will work
According to the IFNMG, there will be no application of tests and candidates will be evaluated through school performance, that is, through grades or grades that will be obtained in disciplines and grades that vary according to the desired course and that must be evidenced by school transcript or equivalent document.
For Concomitant free technical courses, selection will take place through school performance in the subjects studied in Elementary School II, in the 7th, 8th and 9th years, with the grades assigned to each subject applied to their respective weights.
As for subsequent technicians, the process for free courses it will happen through school performance in the subjects studied in the 1st year of high school, with the grade assigned to this year being applied to its respective weight.
It is worth noting that the list of enrolled students will be released on June 23 and on the 24th, the preliminary result will be released. Candidates will have from the 24th to the 25th of June to file an appeal against the preliminary result and the final result will take place on the 28th. Enrollments are scheduled for from the 29th of June.
