With the arrival of suspected cases of Covid-19 in Itaboraí, contractors within Comperj decided on collective vacations to minimize financial impacts
Comperj's management decided to interrupt the works to mitigate the impacts of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) on its workers and other people in the city of Itaboraí. According to information passed on to our team today (25), the contractors in the development decided to take collective vacations and potentially there could be layoffs in April, if this problem extends until then. “Maintaining transparency with all employees, Kerui Method informs that today (25/03/2020), in view of the COVID-19 pandemic scenario and aiming at the well-being of all (employees, suppliers and subcontractors), decided to partially suspend its activities, in compliance with the determination issued in Office SMS/SSVS/Nº 021-2020, of 23/03/2020 by the Municipal Health Department of Itaboraí.
As a consequence of the partial suspension of activities and in agreement with the employees and the Category Union, some measures will be adopted, among them: (i) the Flexibilization of the Workday, with the establishment of Telework; (ii) Implementation of the Bank of Hours for future compensation; (iii) Advance vacation, as established in MP 927/2020; (iv) Suspension of the Employment Contract from May/2020, with maintenance of Food Voucher benefits and extensive Health Plan for dependents.
As a safety measure and in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO), in the face of the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), since the beginning of March, KM has already been taking all preventive measures and we will continue reinforcing the commitment to everyone's safety, in accordance with guidelines from health bodies.
