Indorama Ventures, Known In The Specialty Chemicals Market, Announced That It Will Soon Launch A New Product For The Oil And Gas Industry, The ULTRAFRAC® FB G10.

The oil and gas industry product will be launched between March 20 and 22 at the IV Symposium on Exploration and Production of Unconventional Resources, which takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

By facilitating the weakening of the surface interactions of the fluids in the well, the recently introduced oil and gas industry product successfully enables the ideal removal of the fracturing fluid. This, in turn, helps prevent the formation of emulsions during the initial oil and gas recovery process.

What The Company Says About This Launch In The Oil And Gas Industry Product Market

The South America R&D Manager of Indorama Ventures, Rodrigo Balloni, revealed that the main features of the oil and gas industry product are low surface tension, high cloud point, and good compatibility.

“It is easily soluble in different brine systems and also has an extremely low critical micelle concentration and a strong ability to reduce the surface tension of fracturing fluids, which facilitates subsequent efficient removal. It is important for the industry to provide another effective method and high-performance product and, moreover, we are pleased to launch this product in Argentina, where there will be a large professional audience from the industry.”

Learn More About The Product

During testing, the ULTRAFRAC® FB G10 oil and gas industry product achieved a six-fold increase in fluid recovery and a reduction in break time of over 300 minutes compared to operations without return flow additive.

Additionally, other differences have been identified, such as the likelihood of use in lower doses and the associated evolution of the water-based fracturing fluid backflow. Balloni reinforces Indorama’s commitment to expand its portfolio of products with a culture of innovation and sustainability. “This positioning allows us to develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers with an increasingly lower impact on the social environment,” he concludes.
