The Jaguatirica II Thermoelectric Plant, which will generate up to 133 megawatts of electrical energy for Roraima, has job openings in many positions for this month of July 2020. These hires are due to Techint in Boa Vista – RR, which will operate in the structuring of construction bases and assembly of the equipment, being tested until 2021, when the UTE will start operating effectively.

Currently, the works of the Jaguatirica II Thermoelectric Plant are over 30% completed and when fully operational by the second half of 2021, it will add about 20% more to the energy matrix of the state of Roraima.

The natural gas will come from the Azulão Field in Amazonas, produced by Eneva.
