Who Can Apply for the AES Corporation 2023 Trainee Program
Positions are available for individuals who have completed their Bachelor’s degree between December 2020 and December 2022 in the fields of Engineering, Administration, Accounting, Economics, and Marketing. Additionally, the company requires fluency in English and availability to travel and live in the cities where the training will take place.
The selection process will consist of five stages, starting with the application, which began this September, and concluding with the start of the program in January 2023.

Application: To get started, submit your resume and respond to a questionnaire that asks about fundamental aspects of your background, such as your educational background, specialization, graduation date, and English proficiency.
Online Assessment: If you can demonstrate that you meet the fundamental requirements of the AES Corporation Trainee Program and move to the next level after completing the preliminary questionnaire, you will have access to an online assessment. This assessment will consist of a video interview aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of the candidate.
Group Assessment: The top candidates will be selected for a group review based on an analysis of the video interview. This phase of the selection process will also take place virtually. Each virtual session will include between fifteen and twenty potential candidates.
Business Panel: After completing the assessments, groups of candidates, ranging from 10 to 15, will be selected to participate in the Business Panel, which will also be conducted electronically. This part of the process is quite similar to the Group Assessments, with the difference that several senior executives from AES Corporation will participate in the sessions.
Individual Interviews: After the Business Panel concludes, the HR team along with the leaders will discuss to choose the two or three best candidates for each open trainee position. These candidates will receive an invitation to participate in an individual interview with at least one member of the HR team and one business executive.
Program Start: At the end of all interviews, the selected candidates will be in direct communication with the local recruiter, as well as HR, to manage all logistics associated with the hiring process, as well as the necessary documentation to start the program.
