The Ministry of Education (MEC) opened on Tuesday (04/22) registrations for remaining seats in FIES 2025. Interested parties have until April 29 to register. Check the requirements, reserved spots, and dates of the process.

To compete for the remaining FIES spots, it is necessary:
- Have taken the ENEM in any edition since 2010;
- Obtain a minimum score of 450 points on the tests;
- Not have received a zero on the essay;
- Have a gross monthly family income per capita of up to 3 minimum wages;
- Not have participated in the ENEM as a ‘trainee’.
Half of the Spots Are for Low-Income Students Registered in CadÚnico
50% of the spots are reserved for candidates with a family income per capita of up to half a minimum wage and registered in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico). This is one of the rules of the Social FIES, which prioritizes students in economic vulnerability.

How the Reservation of Spots for PCDs and Ethnic Minorities Works
FIES reserves spots for:
- Black, brown, indigenous, and quilombola individuals: Percentage according to the population proportion of the state (based on IBGE census);
- People with disabilities (PCDs): It is mandatory to present medical report with CID to prove the condition.

- 04/29: Final deadline for registrations on the FIES Portal;
- 05/06: Announcement of the results;
- 05/07 and 05/08: Selected candidates must attend the CPSA of the institution to validate information.
