The Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), in partnership with the Foundation for the Support of the Development of Extension, Research, Vocational and Technological Education (FADEMA), has open positions for professionals interested in contributing to a social impact project.
The selection process, governed by Notice No. 29/2025, is part of the project “Let’s Go IF”, an initiative aimed at educational support for students in situations of social vulnerability.

What is the Let’s Go IF project?
Created with the aim of strengthening inclusive and equitable education, the Let’s Go IF project supports students who wish to enter High School and enhance their knowledge in fundamental subjects, such as Portuguese, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences.
The initiative is aligned with the National Policy of Equity and Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations and Quilombola School Education (PNEERQ), established by Ministry of Education Ordinance No. 470/2024.
With this approach, the program seeks to reduce inequalities in access to education and provide quality education for all.
Additionally, the project also aims to offer specialized support, contributing to the mental health of students and assisting in their retention and academic performance.
The work of the selected professionals will be essential in creating a more welcoming and accessible educational environment.
Who Can Apply?
Professionals wishing to participate in the selection process must meet the following requirements:
- Psychologists: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and active registration with the Regional Psychology Council (CRP).
- Social Workers: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and active registration with the Regional Council of Social Work (CRESS).
- Educators: Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy or Pedagogical Training (R2) in Pedagogy.
Also eligible to participate:
- Effective public servants (federal, state or municipal), active or inactive.
- Graduate students in public institutions, provided they meet the training requirements and have registration with the relevant councils.
The hired professionals will play a key role in pedagogical monitoring and in the development of personalized educational strategies for each student.
The work of these specialists will help identify learning difficulties and develop effective solutions to overcome them.
Distribution of Positions
The selection process for the IFSP offers 34 positions distributed across various campuses of the institution in the state of São Paulo. Some of the units with available positions are:
- Araraquara (2 positions)
- Guarulhos (2 positions)
- Sorocaba (2 positions)
- São José dos Campos (2 positions)
- Cubatão (2 positions)
- Piracicaba (1 position)
- São Paulo (1 position)
- Bragança Paulista (1 position)
- Registro (1 position)
- Hortolândia (1 position)
- São Carlos (1 position)
The duration of the contracts will be eight months, with the possibility of extension depending on the project’s needs.
The hired professionals will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, exchanging experiences with other educators and specialists in the field.
Additionally, they will be able to contribute to the formulation of new pedagogical strategies and strengthen the educational support network.
How Will the Selection Be Made?
The selection process will include document analysis and scoring based on the following criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, specialization, master’s or doctorate (maximum of 10 points).
- Professional Experience: 0.5 points per month of experience in the area (maximum of 20 points).
- Participation in Extension Projects: 1 point per project (maximum of 20 points).
The maximum score is 50 points, and in case of a tie, the criteria for resolving ties will be greater professional experience and the highest qualifications.
The objective of this selection process is to identify qualified and committed professionals who can truly contribute to the educational development of the students served by the project.

Approved candidates will be called to assume their roles immediately after the release of the final results, according to the needs of the campuses where they will work.
