There Are 1,782 Openings Available in Free Technical Courses at the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro. Applications Will Be Open Until September 4, 2022

Applications are open for the selection process at the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro, which is offering openings in free technical courses. 50% of the openings in the free technical courses in Rio de Janeiro are for general competition and 50% are for students from public schools.

The free technical courses at the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro last from 3 to 4 years and will be held in person at the campuses in Duque de Caxias, Arraial do Cabo, Engenheiro Paulo Frontin, Niterói, Nilópolis, Pinheiral, Paracambi, Rio de Janeiro, Resende, Volta Redonda, and São Gonçalo.

The free technical courses are offered in the fields of Computer Science, Environment, Oil and Gas, Plastics, Chemistry, Internet, Environmental Control, Administration, Electrotechnics, Mechanics, Agroindustry, Agriculture, Tourism Guide, Biotechnology, Food, Pharmacy, Occupational Safety, and Industrial Automation.

Exams at the Federal Institute of Rio de Janeiro

The application of the IFRJ exam will take place on October 9 of this year. The test will have 30 multiple-choice questions that will assess the knowledge acquired throughout Elementary School, comprising 15 questions in Portuguese Language and 15 questions in Mathematics. Each question will be worth 4 points, totaling 120 points.

The results of the approved candidates will be announced on November 25, and they will have a period from January 9 to 13, 2023, to enroll. The start of the free technical courses is scheduled for February of the following year.
