2W Energia Obtains Authorization From Aneel for the Kairós Wind Complex in Ceará. With the authorization, the company can start the park’s construction, which will have the capacity to supply about 652,000 homes per month

Billions in Investment In the Northeast! 2W Energia received, this month, the authorization from Aneel (National Electric Energy Agency) to implement and explore the generation of wind energy at the Kairós Wind Complex, located in the municipality of Icapuí, in Ceará. Following this approval, the company can begin construction of the park, which represents an investment of R$ 1.4 billion.

With 261 MW of installed capacity, the Kairós Wind Complex in Ceará will be able to supply 652,000 homes per month, avoiding the emission of 590,000 tons of CO2 per year. Energy generation is set to begin in the first half of 2023.
