Chinese Manufacturer Leapmotor Debuts in Brazil Still in 2025 with Two Electric SUVs, B10 and C10, Focusing on Modern Design, Advanced Technology, and Good Range.

Leapmotor, a Chinese brand of the Stellantis group, confirmed its official arrival in the Brazilian market for the second half of 2025, bringing two electrified models that promise to raise the standard of medium and large SUVs in the country.

In addition to the C10, the brand revealed that Brazil will also receive the unprecedented Leapmotor B10, a 100% electric SUV that directly targets rivals like BYD and GWM.

The expectation is that the two models will strengthen the automaker’s presence in the growing segment of electrified vehicles, focusing on sophisticated design, high technology, and competitive range.

B10: The New Electric SUV from Leapmotor That Challenges Chinese Rivals

The main novelty announced by Leapmotor is the B10 SUV, which arrives in Brazil as the brand’s second launch in the country.

Officially presented at the Shanghai Auto Show, the model measures about 4.5 meters in length and bets on an elegant and modern look.

The smooth lines and clean design follow the brand’s identity, avoiding excessive creases and prioritizing sophistication.

Inside, the Leapmotor B10 impresses with its refined finish and minimalist proposal. Soft-touch materials and leather coverings on the seats, doors, and center console elevate the comfort standard.

One of the highlights is the large multimedia center, which concentrates almost all the vehicle’s controls — even the sunroof control is done through the screen.

Another differentiator is the small instrument panel installed directly on the steering column, favoring ergonomic adjustments without compromising visibility.

Leapmotor did not skimp on technological resources for the B10. The model stands out for its advanced camera system, including 360-degree vision and strategically positioned side cameras to eliminate blind spots, ensuring greater safety for the driver.

Although the LIDAR system — present in the Chinese version — is not expected to be included in the Brazilian version due to cost and homologation issues, the setup still delivers a high level of driving assistance.

Performance and Range That Impress

In China, the Leapmotor B10 is equipped with a rear motor producing 218 horsepower and 24.5 kgfm of torque, offering two battery options: 56.2 kWh and 67.1 kWh.

These numbers ensure an estimated range between 380 km and 460 km, according to the Chinese measurement cycle.

For Brazil, Leapmotor is still studying what configuration will be adopted, focusing on providing the best balance between cost, performance, and competitiveness against local rivals.

C10 and B10: Leapmotor’s Strategy to Conquer Brazil

According to Fernando Varela, vice president of Leapmotor for South America, the C10 and B10 models are key pieces to capturing a significant share of the electrified SUV market in the country.

“With the B10 and C10, Leapmotor will compete for a significant share of the medium and large electrified SUV segment, delivering surprising products to the customer that will certainly be a leap of innovation compared to the competition,” said the executive.

Arrival Scheduled for 2025, but No Set Date

Leapmotor has not yet announced an exact date for the launch of its models in Brazil but confirmed that it will occur still in 2025.

Until then, the brand will continue its road tests and final adjustments to ensure that the vehicle content is compatible with the demands and particularities of Brazilian consumers.
