The Army Public Competition Offers 1,100 Positions Distributed in General, Musician, and Health Areas

Through the School of Sergeants of the Arms and the Department of Education and Culture, the Brazilian Army announces a Public Competition for admission to the Sergeant Training and Graduation Course. The Competition will offer positions for both genders.

The Positions of the Brazilian Army Public Competition Will Be Distributed in the General, Musician, and Health Areas as Follows:

In the General Area, there will be 900 positions for males and 105 positions for females, in the qualifications:

• Artillery;
• Cavalry;
• Communications;
• Engineering;
• Infantry;
• Logistics and Aviation – Maintenance;
• Communications Maintenance;
• Material War – Weapon Maintenance;
• Material War – Vehicle Maintenance;
• Material War – Armored Vehicle Maintenance;
• Material War – Mechanical Operator;
• Topography.

In the Musician Area, 40 positions will be distributed in the qualifications of:

In the Health Area, 55 positions are being offered. The opportunities are for candidates who meet the criteria outlined in the notice.

The prerequisites to compete for the Positions in the Army Public Competition are:

• Having completed high school;
• Being up to date with military and electoral obligations;
• Being a natural-born Brazilian;
• Being between 17 and 26 years old, as of December 31 of the enrollment year;
• Having a minimum height of 1.55 m for female candidates and 1.60 m for male candidates;
• Not having children or dependents;
• Not having established a stable union or being married;
• For the Health area, it is necessary to have completed a technical or higher nursing course by the date of presentation at the Army Technological School Unit.

Selection Stages of the Brazilian Army Public Competition

According to PCI Concursos, candidates for the Competition will be selected through an intellectual exam on September 4, 2022, at one of the Military Organizations, which will be classified and eliminatory. The exam will consist of subjects in Portuguese, essay, physics, and chemistry on the first day, and mathematics, Portuguese, English, history, geography, and specific knowledge on the second day.

Registrations for the Brazilian Army Public Competition

To participate in the Brazilian Army Public Competition, interested parties must register between March 7 and April 5, 2022, on the School of Sergeants of the Arms website. To access thesite, click here.

To complete the registration, it is necessary to pay the registration fee of R$ 95.00 by the date specified on the boleto. For candidates who can request the fee exemption as per the notice, it is necessary to apply for the exemption during the period from March 7 to 9, 2022.
