The Army Public Contest has 1.100 vacancies distributed in the General, Musician and Health areas
Through the Escola de Sargentos das Armas and the Department of Education and Culture, the Brazilian Army announces a Public Contest for admission to the Training and Graduation Course for Sergeants. The Contest will offer vacancies for both sexes.

The vacancies of the Public Contest of the Brazilian Army will be distributed in the General, Musician and Health areas, as follows:
In the General Area, there will be 900 vacancies for males and 105 vacancies for females, in the qualifications:
- Artillery;
- Cavalry;
- communications;
- Engineering;
- Infantry;
- Intendance and Aviation – Maintenance;
- Communications Maintenance;
- War Material – Armament Maintenance;
- War Material – Vehicle Maintenance;
- War Material – Armored Vehicle Maintenance;
- War Material – Mechanic Operator;
- Topography.
In the Musician Area, there will be 40 vacancies distributed in the qualifications of:
- Clarinet in MIB/Clarinet in SIB;
- Baritone Saxhorne in SIB/Bass Saxhorne in SIB;
- Saxophone in MIB/Saxophone in SIB;
- Timpani, Bass Drum, Cymbals, Tarol and Surda Box;
- Tenor Trombone in BSI (rod) / Bass Trombone in BSI (rod);
- Trumpet in MIB/SIB – Cornet in SIB / Flueglhorne in SIB;
- Tuba in MIB/Tuba in SIB.
In the Health Area, 55 vacancies are being offered. Opportunities are for candidates who fit the criteria dictated in the edict.
The prerequisites to compete for vacancies in the Army Public Contest are:
- Have completed high school;
- Be up to date with military and electoral obligations;
- Being Brazilian by birth;
- Be aged between 17 and 26 years old, referring to December 31 of the enrollment year;
- Have a minimum height of 1,55 m for female candidates and 1,60 m for male candidates;
- Do not have children or dependents;
- Not having formed a stable union or being married;
- For the Health area, it is necessary to have completed a technical or higher course in nursing by the date of presentation at the Army Technological School Unit.
Selection steps for the Brazilian Army Public Contest
According to PCI contests, candidates for the Contest will be selected through an intellectual exam on September 4, 2022 in one of the Headquarters Military Organizations, which will be classifying and eliminatory. The exam will consist of Portuguese, writing, physics and chemistry subjects on the first day and mathematics, Portuguese, English, history, geography and specific knowledge on the second day.

Registration for the Public Contest of the Brazilian Army
To participate in the Public Contest of the Brazilian Army, interested parties must register between March 7 and April 5, 2022 on the website of the School of Sergeants of Arms. To access theite, click here.
For the registration to be completed, it is necessary to pay the registration fee in the amount of R$ 95,00, by the day stipulated in the ticket. For candidates who can request the fee waiver according to the public notice, it is necessary to request the fee waiver in the period from March 7 to 9, 2022.
