Raízen’s Trainee, Internship, and Apprentice Programs Are for Several Units of the Company in Brazil
Raízen, a market leader in sugar and ethanol production, has opened applications for its trainee, internship, and apprentice programs. The opportunities are available to work in various units of the company throughout the country. Candidates may work in marketing, finance, legal, and more.
Trainee Program
To apply for Raízen’s trainee program, it is necessary to have graduated from Higher Education (bachelor’s, teaching, and technology) between July 2019 and December 2021, have availability for a work schedule of 40 hours per week (8 hours per day), and be open to relocating between states and cities with Raízen units in Brazil. Knowledge of English is not required to apply.
Candidates may work in any area of the company, such as Commercial & Marketing; Energy and Renewables; Strategy and Sustainability; Ethanol, Sugar, and Bioenergy; Finance; Legal; Logistics and Distribution (SUPPLY CHAIN); Institutional Relations and more.

The trainee program is divided into four stages:

- Challenge – October and November: Here, the candidate will receive a challenge to solve based on some of Raízen’s business.
- Final Panel – November and December: The candidate will go through a final phase with Raízen leadership and will have the opportunity to learn more about the company’s business.
Internship Program
To apply for internship opportunities at Raízen, candidates must have their graduation (bachelor’s, teaching, and technology) expected to be completed between December 2023 and December 2024; be available for a 30-hour workweek (6 hours per day); and knowledge of English or prior work experience is not required.
At the time of application, candidates can choose their region and preferred area. There are internship positions available in a large part of Brazil, and the areas of operation vary by region.
Raízen’s internship program will be divided into five stages:
- Application – 08/24 to 09/25: Interested individuals should apply online and answer some questions. If the profile meets the prerequisites, the candidate will receive instructions for the next steps via email.
- Online Tests – 09/30 to 10/17: The first test is an online journey where the candidate will learn more about Raízen. Challenges will also be conducted so the company can get to know the candidates better.
- Online Dynamics – 10/25 to 11/30: Group dynamics combining proactivity and collaboration.
- Interview – 10/25 to 11/30: A dynamic and an online interview with leadership for the candidate to showcase what they know about Raízen.
- Admission Process and Start – Expected in January and February 2023: There will be a medical exam and document submission.
Apprentice Program
To apply for Raízen’s Apprentice Program, candidates must be up to 21 years and 11 months old (until August 2024), have completed Elementary or High School or Technical education, either currently enrolled or completed; have availability for a 20-hour workweek (4 hours per day, morning or afternoon); knowledge of English and prior work experience is not required.
Raízen’s Apprentice Program will consist of five stages:
- Application – from 08/24: Candidates must apply online and answer questions that assess whether their personality and the future they want connect with Raízen’s culture. The test does not eliminate anyone from the process automatically; it serves only for the company to better understand the candidate.
- Online Dynamics – 10/30 to 11/30: In this stage, the candidate participates in an online dynamic. It is an opportunity to showcase everything they know about Raízen.
- Interview – 10/30 to 12/09: An interview is conducted with the hiring manager and other team members who need to get to know the candidate.
- Admission Process – 12/12 to 01/20: Where approval for the position occurs. Upon admission, the candidate will undergo a medical exam and submit documents.
- Start – February and March: At this stage, the candidate will be part of the Raízen team.
