National Offer and Participating Poles
The class of 2026 will be offered in network, a model that brings together federal, state universities, and federal institutes under common coordination.
The distribution of vacancies occurs by academic poles, chosen at the time of registration.
Among the participating institutions are campuses of Unesp, UFSCar, UFMG, UFRN, UFG, UFRRJ, UFAL, UFRPE, UFT, UFC, UFAM (Manaus and Parintins), UnB, UFES, UNIOESTE, UEM, UPE, UESB, UESPI, Unimontes, IFCE, IFSULDEMINAS and IF Sudeste de Minas Gerais.
The number of places per pole varies and is stated in the specific notice of each associated unit.
Course Structure and Objectives
The ProEF has a duration of 24 months and focuses on School Physical Education.
The curriculum design articulates theoretical foundations and pedagogical intervention, aiming to produce and apply solutions for the classroom and for managing the curricular component in public networks.
In addition to mandatory and elective subjects, the program provides for an educational product as a final result, generally accompanied by a technical-scientific report.
Selection Criteria
The selection is unified and detailed in the notice. In general, the process includes a test with content related to the field of School Physical Education and documentary analysis, which may include additional stages defined by each pole, such as memorial evaluation or interview.
For the 2026 edition, the test is scheduled for November 30, 2025, on a single national date, to be conducted in person at the poles specified in the notice.
The confirmation of time, location, and any additional instructions will be provided by the organization.
Documents and Proofs
The candidate must carefully observe what each pole requires during the application phase and in subsequent stages.
In general, the following documents are required: identification document, proof of effective ties in the public network, diploma or declaration of completion of the degree, and, when applicable, updated resume.
Files that are out of standard, submitted in error, or after the deadline may lead to disqualification.
It is advisable to check the accepted models, maximum upload size, and the anticipated authentication methods.
Reserves, Distribution, and Calls
The distribution of vacancies by institution and any affirmative action policies follow what is specified by each pole, respecting current legislation.
List of approved candidates, enrollment schedule, and subsequent calls are also published according to the process calendar.
It is the candidate’s responsibility to keep track of official updates throughout the selection period.
Academic Assignments After Enrollment
Once enrolled, the master’s student must complete credits, participate in formative activities, and develop the educational product aligned with the needs of the public school.
Guidance is provided by faculty accredited in the program.
The final submission is subject to evaluation board, with guidelines defined by the national coordination and the internal regulations of the poles.
Why ProEF Is Strategic for the Networks
By prioritizing effective teachers, ProEF strengthens continuing professional development within the teaching network itself.
Projects and products generated in the course tend to feed back pedagogical practices, teaching materials, and evaluation processes, expanding the reach of public investment.
Beyond the master’s degree title, the training seeks to consolidate applied evidence to the school reality.
Reference Schedule
Registrations take place from October 9 to November 3, 2025. The test is scheduled for November 30, 2025.
Other dates—disclosure of registrants, approvals, results, appeals, and enrollments—should be checked in the official communications from the coordination and poles.
Registrations: Step by Step and Deadlines
To participate, the candidate must read the notice in full, select the pole where they intend to take the master’s degree, fill out the online form on the organizer’s page, and pay the fee of R$ 150 within the valid period for compensation.
Registrations are open from 10 AM on October 9 until 11:59 PM on November 3, 2025.
It is advisable not to leave it until the last minute, as the submission of documents and the choice of the pole occur at this stage.
In case of questions about specific requirements, the guidance is to consult the coordination of the chosen pole before completing the registration.
