The project is expected to cost US$ 3 billion, around R$ 15 billion in direct conversion, generating 12 thousand new job openings during the peak of construction, in a city with currently seven thousand inhabitants. Work on the new industry is expected to begin in June of next year, with operations estimated to start in 2028, generating 250 direct jobs and 300 indirect ones.
Government Of The State Of MS Will Invest In Infrastructure
According to the government of Mato Grosso do Sul, the population of Inocência is expected to increase by 170% in the coming years. Get To Know The Pulp Valley
The Pulp Valley Innovation Ecosystem is a technological hub created for the development and promotion of innovation in the region of Três Lagoas (MS). It was launched last year, with extensive participation from companies and higher education institutions, which developed a Planning Document, guiding the next steps of this initiative.
The Innovation Ecosystem stems from the desire of institutions to unify the technical qualities of Três Lagoas in a direction that fosters innovation and technology.
A preliminary study was conducted to determine its capabilities in terms of technical and scientific skills to further develop these capabilities for the socioeconomic development of Três Lagoas. It is possible to find that there are still some companies that have not benefited from the technical capabilities of the science, innovation, and technology institutions.
