The future leaseholder will have to make investments, such as building a new warehouse and purchasing overhead cranes to facilitate unloading by rail of a composition of 67 wagons with 88 tons each, in a maximum of 8,5 hours, for example.

The winner of the STS14A terminal, with an area of 45,1 square meters, in addition to building a new warehouse and making investments that allow for the same rail unloading as in the other terminal, will also have to pay for equipment that allows shipments to be shipped from the warehouse to the pier. , of at least 25 thousand tons per day.

PULP – Brazil is one of the largest pulp producers in the world, which is the product with the highest annual growth rate in the Port of Santos. After the investments in the terminals, the handling of this type of cargo should jump to five million tons per year.
