The high-performance motorcycle industry has a new protagonist coming from China. ZXJC, a company led by Zhang Xue (founder of the now-defunct brand Kove), revealed the sporty 820RR, an “inline-triple” motorcycle designed to shake up the superbike segment. Promising 150 hp, a top speed of 299 km/h, and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, the model arrives to compete with renowned European brands and show how far Chinese engineering can go in the pursuit of global prestige.
Triple-Cylinder Engine and Brutal Performance
The heart of the ZXJC 820RR is a 819 cc, three-cylinder inline engine, designed to deliver 150 hp at 13,000 rpm and torque of approximately 85 Nm at 10,500 rpm.
The maximum revs approach 15,250 rpm, a level typically reserved for racing machines.

If confirmed in production, the numbers of the 820RR place it on par with sports bikes like the MV Agusta F3 800, which delivers 147 hp and is a benchmark in performance among triples. The Weight of the Brand and Chinese Engineering
ZXJC was born under the leadership of Zhang Xue, who had already gained notoriety in the high-performance motorcycle market with Kove.
The proposal now is even more ambitious: to transform China not only into a supplier of affordable motorcycles but also into a manufacturer of superbikes capable of competing with Ducati, MV Agusta, and Yamaha.
The 820RR project shows technical maturity, with an aluminum frame, modern aerodynamic solutions, and strong investment in electronics. It represents an important step in changing the image of Chinese brands, which until recently were seen merely as budget options.

Despite the promising specifications, some points still lack confirmation:
- Market Price: it has not been disclosed how much the motorcycle will cost, a decisive factor in measuring its success.
- Reliability: it remains to be seen whether mass production will maintain the promised quality.
- Global Homologations: there is still no certainty of when, or if, it will officially arrive in markets like Europe and Brazil.
