Free Shell Program Focused on Entrepreneurial Youth in ES

The Shell Young Initiative program is continuous, and each class lasts 12 months, considering everything from the selection process to the legal establishment of businesses. The program is divided into three phases:

Idea Lab: This is the initial phase of the Shell program, where projects and businesses are analyzed based on their operational and market feasibility, and the entrepreneur is evaluated based on their behavior and entrepreneurial profile. We believe that behind good businesses there are always good entrepreneurs. Good entrepreneurs create good businesses. The selection process consists of two phases:

Phase 1 – Individual Interviews: Understanding the business and entrepreneurial motivation.
Phase 2 – LiveWIRE Weekend: An intense weekend marked by various group activities. Dynamics are conducted to stimulate interaction, creativity, and innovation among participants in order to select the best projects and entrepreneurs. In summary, it assesses entrepreneurial behavior, project feasibility, and alignment with the Shell Program criteria.

Project Workshop: In this phase, the focus is on business modeling and validation. You will participate in thematic workshops, management workshops, and have directed meetings with mentors with personalized paths in your entrepreneurial journey. Thus, by the end of this phase, you will have developed a prototype of a high-impact business. Also, in the Shell Project Workshop, you will draft your business plan, with its financial and operational viability assessed during the Evaluation Board.

Business Factory: The annual business fair marks the entry into the Business Factory. During the Business Factory, with the support of mentors and consultants, you will be encouraged to test and verify the business’s market fit. This last phase aims to turn your venture into a legalized and fully operational company. At this moment, you can submit your business for the audit process to obtain the Shell Young Initiative Sustainable Business Seal.

Focus on Innovation, Ethics, and Sustainability

Through guidance, technical and managerial support, and encouragement and entrepreneurial training, the oil multinational Shell fosters the development of entrepreneurial agents of transformation and sustainable business models using methodologies based on the most modern tools.
