The Chinese Company Aims to Expand Its Business Horizons and Will Now Sell Everything from Cell Phones to Pet Items and Home Products
Xiaomi, the Chinese multinational cell phone company, is looking to expand its range of sold products, which will include the sale of cell phones. In its third year of operation in Brazil, the company is raising its bets on diversifying its sales portfolio by including new product categories. The new products to be sold will include pots, kettles, blenders, body massagers, and pet products.
According to Luciano Barbosa, the executive leading Xiaomi in Brazil, the company will also establish partnerships with major retail companies such as Centauro, Polishop, Riachuelo, and Magalu, as well as regional networks like Martinello and Miranda in the Northeast, Quero Quero and Koerich in the South.
In his words: “We are present in a total of eight thousand points of sale. We are opting to form partnerships to better communicate with the customer about our products. The year 2022 was very challenging for the technology sector.”

Future Partnerships for Xiaomi
In addition, the executive also states that Xiaomi’s goal is to increase its products sold for the kitchen and connected home line.
