Opportunities for Temporary Doctors and Technicians
Two main categories make up the selection process:
- Notice No. 08/2024 – Temporary Medical Officer (TMO): Opens positions for medical professionals with specialization in specific areas, such as allergology, cardiology, infectious diseases, psychiatry, pediatrics, among others.
- Notice No. 09/2024 – Temporary Technical Officer (TTO): Aimed at professionals in administration and law who wish to enter the military career and apply their knowledge in a public service context.
The salaries for the two categories range from R$ 6,933.00 to R$ 8,245.00, with benefits and stability that increasingly attract candidates.
The positions are available in several strategic cities in Minas Gerais, including Belo Horizonte, Juiz de Fora, Montes Claros, among others.
Who Can Apply?
To participate, the candidate must meet specific criteria defined by the 4th RM. Basic requirements include: being a native Brazilian, having a degree in the requested area, and a maximum age of 40 years for the TTO notice and 38 years for the TMO notice.
This age limit is necessary to ensure that the approved candidates are physically fit for the training and demands of the military career.
Additionally, the registration requires the payment of a fee of R$ 40.00, which must be paid by November 22, 2024.
Interested candidates can register online from November 7 to 21, 2024, by accessing the official website of the 4th Military Region.
Candidates who meet the criteria for low income or other specifications may request a fee waiver until November 12.
Selection Process Stages
The selection process consists of several eliminatory stages, and candidates will undergo a comprehensive evaluation before being assigned to the position. The stages include:
- Registration and Document Review: After paying the fee, the candidate must provide proof of their academic and personal documentation to proceed.
- Interview and Resume Review: The candidate’s academic and professional experience will be carefully analyzed by a recruitment committee. This stage is eliminatory and classificatory, prioritizing those who are better suited to the required profile.
- Health Inspection and Physical Fitness Test: All candidates must undergo health evaluations, as well as a rigorous physical examination. For men, the fitness test includes doing 10 push-ups and running 1,800 meters in up to 12 minutes. For women, the test includes 6 push-ups and a 1,600-meter run in the same time Temporary Military.
- Practical Tests: For some specific areas, such as certain medical specialties, an additional practical test will be required to demonstrate specific skills and ensure that the selected candidates can effectively meet military demands Temporary Military.

The operating cities for the approved candidates are spread throughout Minas Gerais, including locations such as Belo Horizonte, Itajubá, Juiz de Fora, Pouso Alegre, among others.
