The forecast was previously confirmed by Rita Serrano, who was leading the institution at the time of the announcement. According to the latest information, there is an expectation that not just one, but two announcements will be released next year. Thus, if this becomes a reality, Caixa is expected to release the long-awaited announcement for a public contest for banking technicians, but also another one for the information technology sector.
It is worth noting that, in June, it was determined that the next announcement should only be released for the filling of immediate vacancies, with no existence of a reserve list for personnel. However, there is still no definition of the number of vacancies.

Those interested in competing for the Caixa Econômica Federal contest must have a high school diploma. The approved candidates will be responsible for providing public service, identifying clients, verifying the authenticity of documents, fingerprints, signatures, when specific training is conducted, conducting business and marketing products and services, performing various calculations and controls, carrying out administrative activities and banking operations, using technological equipment and tools.
They also identify and point out opportunities for improvements in the processes in which they operate, execute other activities inherent to the occupational content of the positions, among others.

The vacancies were for banking technician positions to operate in 27 Federal Units and banking technician positions in the area of information technology, stationed only in Brasília, Federal District. The public contest included objective and essay tests. The objective part had 60 questions, covering the following subjects:
- portuguese language;
- financial mathematics;
- banking knowledge;
- specific knowledge.
