The Caixa Econômica Federal recently released the announcement no. 03/2023 of the selection process to fill two internship positions and create a reserve list for students pursuing a degree in Accounting. The process aims to expand the number of interns in Brasília, in the Federal District.

Those interested in the internship positions at Caixa Econômica Federal must be enrolled and attending the Accounting course, starting from the 3rd semester, be a natural-born or naturalized Brazilian or a foreigner with permanent residency in Brazil, not have been dismissed from public service, and by the start date of the internship, the student must be at least 16 years old.
They must be up to date with electoral obligations if over 18 years old and military obligations if male and over 18, and must be regularly enrolled in an educational institution that has a current agreement with the CIEE.

It is also necessary that candidates for the Caixa internship 2023 have not completed an internship for a period longer than 18 months, whether continuous or intermittent, at the Caixa Econômica Federal, except for persons with disabilities.
It is crucial that they do not have any restrictions that prevent the opening of an account to receive the internship stipend and transportation aid. Those approved for the Caixa internship positions 2023 will receive a stipend of R$ 1,000 and R$ 130 for transportation to work a daily schedule of 5 hours and 25 hours per week.
Applications Are Open Until August 30
Candidates can apply for free starting on August 15 until 5 PM on the 30th of the same month. Applications must be made on the CIEE website. Candidates will go through two stages for the Caixa Econômica Federal internship positions.
The first phase will consist of an objective test conducted online. The second phase will be an interview at Caixa. The first stage, consisting of an objective test, will include 20 multiple-choice questions with 4 options based on content related to Portuguese, Basic Computer Knowledge, and Specific Knowledge.
It is important to note that the candidate will have only two minutes to answer each question. If the candidate does not respond within the given time, the system will record a blank answer and automatically proceed to the next question.

Possible Topics That Will Be Covered In The Caixa Econômica Federal Test
The Portuguese section will have 10 questions on Portuguese Language: Official Spelling, Use of Verb Tenses and Moods, Graphical Accentuation, Nominal and Verbal Agreement. The Basic Computer Knowledge section will include 5 questions on Excel, Email, Word, and Internet.
Finally, the specific knowledge section will consist of 5 questions on accounting principles, accounting entries using the double-entry method, analysis and interpretation of financial statements, cost of goods sold, calculation of the fiscal year result, law no. 6.404/76 and amendments.
Public Accounting will cover Brazilian Accounting Standards Applied to the Public Sector, Assets and Accounting Systems, Conceptualization, Object, and Scope of Application, Financial Statements, Depreciation, Amortization, and Depletion, Valuation and Measurement of Assets and Liabilities.
One of the topics in the last announcement was Public Finance and Public Budget, Public Revenue and Expenditure, Additional Credits, Advances or Fund Supplies, Law no. 4320/64 and amendments, and Complementary Law amendments.
The provisional answer key and question booklet will be available on August 31. The publication of the final qualification list will take place on September 27 on the CIEE website. The selection process will be valid until November 5, upon approval of the final result, and may be renewed at the discretion of Caixa Econômica Federal.
