The 250 W version of the electric bike has a 48 V/1 kWh battery, providing an incredible range of up to 320 km.
the field of electric bikes, or e-bikes, is growing rapidly, driven by public demand for environmentally friendly means of transport. While many e-bikes maintain a sober look, there are some companies that decide to take a little more risk by introducing innovative and futuristic designs. Today, we're going to talk about one of those electric vehicles daring, the new Cyber e-bike, a robust monster on two wheels produced by the British startup WAU.
Meet the Cyber e-bike
The bold design of Electric Bicycle Cyber significantly distances itself from traditional bikes, looking more like a bike for trails. It is also reminiscent of the famous Tesla Cybertruck, giving it a touch of cyberpunk identity.
- Varied configurations for different markets
This beefy e-bike will be available in three different configurations to suit each country's local traffic laws.

For the European market, where restrictions are stricter, the bike will be equipped with a 250-watt Bafang intermediate motor, reaching speeds of up to 25 km/h. In the United States, power rises to 750 watts, with a top speed of 45 km/h. Both models have high-capacity batteries manufactured by Samsung.
- impressive autonomy
The 250 W version of Electric Bicycle Cyber has a 48 V/1 kWh battery, providing an incredible range of up to 320 km. The 750 W version has a 52 V/1 kWh battery, offering almost 260 km of range, slightly less, due to the higher top speed capability.
- prepared for adventures
For the adventurous, there's the Cyber 5000. This model, the most powerful of the bunch, comes with a 5.000-watt mid-drive motor and can reach speeds of nearly 90 km/h. It also has full suspension, smaller wheels and a gigantic 2,8-volt 60 kWh battery capable of nearly 100 km per charge, even at high speed.
All versions of Electric Bicycle Cyber are equipped with a 10-speed Shimano transmission and four-piston hydraulic disc brakes. They also come with a color LCD display and built-in RGB lighting. Trust the video:
Cyber e-bike price and availability
WAU launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds and increase production of the Cyber electric bike. The first 25 units can now be ordered on Indiegogo for US$ 2.999, equivalent to approximately R$ 14.200.
The market growth of electric bikes marks an important moment in the search for a more sustainable transport. With innovative initiatives like “Cyber”, the future of green transport looks promising. Series production and deliveries of the first WAU Cyber units are scheduled for 2024.
