These Launches Reflect Nissan’s Strategy To Combine Efficiency, Advanced Technology, And Sophisticated Design.
As 2024 approaches, Nissan is preparing to introduce three revolutionary models to the Brazilian market that promise to redefine the standards in their respective categories. The launch of the Nissan Kicks 2024, Nissan Sentra Hybrid, and Nissan X-Trail highlights the Japanese brand’s commitment to offering innovation, efficiency, and advanced technology. These launches emphasize Nissan’s strategy to meet the growing demands for more sustainable and technologically advanced vehicles while remaining at the forefront of the automotive industry. Each of these models brings unique and promising features designed to capture the imagination and meet the needs of Brazilian consumers.
Nissan Sentra Hybrid
The new Sentra stands out for its enlarged dimensions and modern sporty design. Measuring 4.64 meters in length, 1.81 meters in width, and 1.45 meters in height, the vehicle offers a trunk capacity of 466 liters for combustion models and 405 liters for hybrids. The external design features a large front grille, sporty bumper, full LED lighting, and an elegant rear with LED taillights and integrated spoiler.
Inside, the Sentra has undergone a remarkable transformation, with leather finishes on the dashboard, doors, and console, reminiscent of a style inspired by Mercedes-Benz. The interior space is comfortable, accommodating five adults with ease. Among the highlighted features are the sunroof, electric adjustments for the driver’s seat, wireless phone charging, and an advanced multimedia system with an 8-inch screen.

The Honda Fit has been discontinued for years, but the 2018 model is worth more today in the Fipe table than it cost brand new, proving that this used car, valued with a 1.5 i-VTEC engine and Magic Seat, only increases in price.
-
Volkswagen unveiled the 2027 Atlas with a 282-horsepower EA888 turbo engine, a 15-inch screen, massage seats, and a completely new interior to finally elevate the three-row SUV built on the MQB platform to a new level.

After decades out of the spotlight, Citroën is preparing to bring back the legendary 2CV as a low-cost electric vehicle, betting on the revival of one of the most popular cars in history and aiming to enter the race for affordable compact cars.

The 2026 electric Vitara arrives in Brazil and proves that Suzuki is not leaving: 4×4 traction, 184 hp, 61 kWh LFP battery, 293 km range, R$ 259,000, and a trunk capacity of 224 L.
As for the powertrains, the 2022 Sentra offers two options. The first is a 2.0 naturally aspirated engine with direct fuel injection, generating around 160 horsepower in the Flex version. The second, and more anticipated, is the hybrid option. This innovative system prioritizes the electric motor, with a 1.2 naturally aspirated gasoline engine primarily serving to charge the batteries. The combination delivers 136 horsepower and a torque of 30.6 kgfm, providing impressive performance and superior efficiency compared to the Corolla hybrid.
In terms of safety, the hybrid Sentra does not disappoint, including traction and stability control, ABS brakes, airbags, and a full range of advanced driving assists. It is expected that the Sentra will be imported from Mexico, with a competitive price in the Brazilian market, ranging between R$ 150,000 and R$ 160,000. With this pricing strategy and innovative features, the 2022 Nissan Sentra Hybrid is positioned to be a success in Brazil, challenging the Corolla’s dominance and redefining the sedan segment.
Nissan X-Trail 2024
With dimensions comparable to rivals like the Toyota RAV4 and the Ford Territory, the X-Trail measures 4.66 meters in length, 1.84 meters in width, and 1.72 meters in height, offering a spacious trunk of 500 liters. The external design of the X-Trail reflects a balance between sophistication and sportiness, featuring a redesigned front grille, chrome or Black Piano horizontal bars, and a divided full LED lighting system.
Inside, the X-Trail impresses with premium finishes, including soft-touch elements, leather, and a generous interior space capable of comfortably accommodating five adults and two children in the third row of seats. The vehicle is equipped with high-tech features, such as a Bose sound system, panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, digital climate control, and a multimedia center with a 12.3-inch screen.
The major innovation of the X-Trail lies in its e-Power hybrid powertrain. The model will be equipped with a 1.5 Turbo gasoline engine with direct fuel injection, complemented by an electric motor, delivering approximately 204 horsepower and a combined torque of 33.6 kgfm. This innovative system allows the X-Trail to operate predominantly with the electric motor, achieving an exemplary fuel efficiency of 21.4 km/l.
In terms of safety, the X-Trail sets new standards for the segment by offering six airbags, collision warning, traction and stability control, in addition to advanced features such as lane correction assist and adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality.
Nissan Kicks 2024
The new generation of the Kicks will maintain the CMF-B platform, the same used in the Sentra and Cashqai models, and will feature a significant increase in dimensions. With a length of 4.31 meters and an extended wheelbase of 2.65 meters, the new Kicks will offer more interior space, a crucial aspect for comfort in SUV segment vehicles.
In terms of design, the Kicks 2024 will showcase Nissan’s new visual identity, featuring C-shaped headlights, a V-motion front grille, and LED taillights. The SUV will also come with up to 18-inch diamond wheels, giving it a more robust and sophisticated appearance.
The major differentiator of the new Kicks will be its powertrain. Departing from the 1.6 engine in the top-end versions, the Kicks 2024 will adopt the innovative e-Power hybrid system. This system combines a 1.2 three-cylinder gasoline engine that acts as a power generator, with an electric motor, delivering up to 136 horsepower and 28.5 kgfm of torque. Furthermore, performance promises to be remarkable, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds and impressive fuel efficiency, reaching up to 30 km per liter.
Internally, the Kicks 2024 will offer a refined interior, with leather finishes on the dashboard and doors. Equipped with advanced technologies, the model will feature a sunroof, electric parking brake, wireless phone charging, digital climate control, and a premium Bose sound system. Additionally, a new 10-inch multimedia center will provide enhanced connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In terms of safety, the new generation of the Kicks will include a range of advanced features, such as collision warning, emergency autonomous braking, blind spot alert, lane correction assist, and adaptive cruise control.
