Seeking Good Results In Production
The company stated in a report that other factors, such as the low attractiveness of investments, may cause its products to target the external market, pressuring the decision to cease production at the plant in the state of Goiás.
The company’s production will be concentrated in Lençóis Paulista, in the state of São Paulo, and in São Félix do Xingu and Água Azul do Norte, located in the state of Pará. Frigol mentioned it will strive to continue conducting business with the ranchers from the area that was closed in Goiás, especially by transferring the animals to the unit in the state of São Paulo.
In a statement, the plant says that these three units continuing to operate have various qualifications to export to different markets and will ensure the supply of products for both domestic and international markets. Frigol also states that all decisions made regarding the cessation of production at the unit in Goiás aim to achieve better production efficiency and obtain better results.
