Enhancing Logistics in the State
Fribon’s regional manager, Sidiney Vieira, says that the logistical difficulties that the locality has will be addressed with the arrival of the venture. Therefore, the logistics company comes to Pará mainly to reduce the challenges that grain-producing companies in the region face. For this reason, it will be close to the port of Vila do Conde, which is integrated into the industrial zone in Barcarena.
Sidiney also added that there is a forecast for growth in the region, so the company is already studying the packaging of fertilizers as the next step in its business. According to him, the goal is to increase logistics and storage in the state of Pará, so they plan to include and expand the packaging process and determine that if they are going to cultivate soybeans, they will certainly need fertilizers.
Investments and Economic Development in the Region
Manoel Ibiapina, the Director of Investment Attraction and Business at Codec, stated that the importance of bringing the logistics company closer to the municipality of Pará to meet new business needs was emphasized. According to him, they believe this is a very successful endeavor, especially due to the relevance of the project, which will ensure the storage and quality of products, as well as modern factories, built warehouses, including conveyor belts and all necessary structures.
