Transpetro got in touch with the CPG to clarify some points about the issue of the collective agreement
In the last article about Transpetro, some maritime oil tankers contacted us about some problems in thethe collective agreement made with the subsidiary of Petrobras, especially with regard to the scale of work. Today (20), Transpetro's press office asked us to publish an official note on this issue. He follows:
Rio de Janeiro, February 20, 2020
“Regarding the article “Transpetro wants to change the work regime of oil tankers on public service exams to a conventional CLT”, the company clarifies that the employment relationship of all its employees on public service exams is governed by the CLT and that the Collective Agreement (ACT Mar 2017-2019 ) is not valid only for the categories that rejected the company's proposal, according to the labor legislation in force.
Five categories accepted the company's proposal and signed a new agreement for the 2019-2020 period. It should be noted that, despite the indication of acceptance by all union entities, some categories did not sign the collective agreement until 7/2, the end date of the Mar 2017-2019 ACT.
Transpetro points out that it was tireless in the search for an agreement with the union entities that represent its employees, having been flexible and revising several items of its proposal and reiterates that it is available to the union entities in case the categories decide to review their position.”
