Before the launch, Governor Zema visited the construction site to monitor the progress of the earthworks, which prepare the land for the construction of the brewery.

Upon receiving the license for implementation in Passos, granted by the Environmental Policy Committee (Copam), the Heineken Group began the brewery’s works in March of this year.

The new Heineken factory in Minas Gerais will be a reference in sustainable practices, using modern and efficient processes and equipment.
Committed to carbon neutrality, the operation will be 100% powered by renewable energy sources, contributing to the environmental goal announced by the company in 2021.
