A new motorcycle from Shineray may arrive in the Brazilian market soon. It is a naked bike with a retro style and a 400cc engine, which can rival established names like the Triumph Speed 400 and even the best-selling Bajaj Dominar 400. When Will the New SWM from Shineray Arrive in Brazil?

Probably, the new 400cc motorcycle will not have the Shineray logo on the tank, but rather the SWM. The Italian brand was founded in Milan, but since 2014 has been fully owned by the Chinese Shineray Holdings. And it is the news from the European subsidiary that the Asian company intends to bring to Brazil.

Initially, the first motorcycle from SWM confirmed for the Brazilian market by Shineray is the Gran Milano 500. However, the brand has other launches on its agenda, such as the new 400cc SWM Scrambler and SWM Classic. According to the company, both new motorcycles are expected to arrive in the national market in the first half of 2025.

In summary, both SWM models are powered by a 397.2 cm³ single-cylinder engine. A power plant that delivers 26.5 hp at 7,000 RPM and 3 kgfm of torque at 5,500 RPM. In addition, the new 400cc motorcycle features a 13-liter tank and a dual-channel ABS braking system.

How Much Will the New Motorcycle from Shineray Cost?

Thus, the differences between the motorcycles lie in the visual proposal of the models. The SWM 400 Scrambler presents itself as a motorcycle with a retro off-road style. Meanwhile, the Classic 400 has a classic design with slight cafe racer aspirations.

In the European market, the set of both motorcycles is also sold by the Mash brand, where prices start at €4,290, equivalent to R$ 26 thousand in direct conversion. However, possible prices have not yet been disclosed for Brazil.

It is worth noting that, in addition to this new 400cc motorcycle, Shineray announced a schedule of new motorcycle launches this year. The main model is the Storm 200, a crossover from Lifan, which delivers about 20 horsepower, with liquid-cooled engine. This model features a six-speed transmission and alloy wheels.

Shineray has also announced the arrival of the SHI 250 2025, which is already being offered at some of the brand’s dealerships. Although it has not been officially launched by the manufacturer, the motorcycle is being advertised by stores, and some units have even already been sold. The price of the SHI 250 2025 has not yet been officially disclosed by Shineray, but dealerships are advertising the model for prices between R$ 21,990 and R$ 22,990.

There is still no official technical information about the motorcycle, such as performance, power, engine data, and complete specifications. According to information from dealerships, the motorcycle features a 6-speed transmission, electronic fuel injection, and FULL LED lighting. The package also includes disc brakes and a digital dashboard, while the suspension features an inverted fork in the front and a monoshock system in the rear.

This promises to be a great motorcycle for those seeking an economical, modern vehicle with updated technology. With attractive standard items and a pleasing design, this motorcycle has the potential to carve out a space in the competitive motorcycle market in Brazil.
