The Finnish Verge presented its electric motorcycle Verge TS Ultra as the latest evolution of the startup. Deliveries of the TS and TS Pro models have not yet started, but the company has already revealed the most technological and powerful features in its line. With a value equivalent to over 250 thousand reais, the new motorcycle offers 204 horsepower and promises battery recharging in 25 minutes, in addition to a range greater than 345 km. Advanced Technology Of The Verge TS Ultra Electric Motorcycle

Part of the technology that surprised the audience in the TS line is the fact that the motor is embedded in the rear wheel. However, the propulsor is literally built inside the wheel, rather than in a central hub, as is usual in motors or even electric bicycles with this solution.

The electric motor integrated into the rim allows for the separation of a transmission and the maintenance that accompanies it, while achieving a quite unique look. In September of last year, the Finnish manufacturer opened its pre-orders and presented its model from all angles. But since then, some technical changes have been made.

According to the manufacturer, the electric motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, while the maximum speed is 200 km/h. According to data released by Verge, the estimated charging time for the motorcycle is 25 minutes, while the range can exceed 375 km. If it maintains the same maximum performance on paper with a top speed of 180 km/h and under 4 seconds to reach 0 to 100 km/h, the maximum power of the motor has been inflated to reach 138.7 hp (102 kW instead of 80 kW).
