Learn About The Last Public Competition Of The Mint
The last Mint competition was held over 10 years ago, specifically in 2012, when the institution offered more than 1,015 vacancies, including 27 immediate and 988 reserve personnel.
The opportunities were for positions such as administrative technical assistant, industrial technician, industrial operations assistant, and administrative analyst, each with several specific specialties. At that time, the organizing body was the Fundación Cesgranrio.
The last public competition consisted of two stages, with the first stage consisting of objective tests for all positions under the technical and operational responsibility of the Fundación Cesgranrio, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, and the second stage, of biopsychosocial qualification and competent admission procedures under the responsibility of the Mint of Brazil.
Get To Know The Mint
The Mint of Brazil was founded on March 8, 1694, as a solution to the problem of the lack of instruments that helped circulate wealth in Colonial Brazil.
At that time, the few existing coins came from Portugal or were obtained from trade with foreign travelers. Thus, the King of Portugal, D. Pedro II, authorized the minting of provincial coins, genuinely Brazilian.
Since then, the Mint of Brazil has been fulfilling its role of ensuring the safety of Brazilian society, which deals daily with various products and services offered by the Mint.
