Electric Sedan Debuts at R$ 649,990, with 445 km of Range on PBEV/Inmetro and Charging from 10 to 80% in About 21 Minutes Using Up to 270 kW of DC Current. Highlights Include Optional Virtual Mirrors and Photocromic Panoramic Roof.

The supply of electric cars in Brazil is growing rapidly, and the new Audi A6 Sportback e-tron arrives to compete in the premium segment of electrified sedans. Positioned as a showcase of technology, it combines aerodynamic design and energy efficiency solutions tailored for long journeys.

With a suggested price of R$ 649,990 for the Performance Black version, the A6 e-tron relies on the official range of 445 km from PBEV/Inmetro and a charging electronics system that allows for rapid filling at high-power DC stations. According to Audi, this allows for charging from 10 to 80% in approximately 21 minutes, provided the station offers a power output of 270 kW.

In addition to strong performance and rear-wheel drive, the sedan includes features that attract attention from the public, such as photocromic roof with segment-wise dimming, camera-based mirrors, and an extensive driver assistance package. It’s a package that directly targets those who value technology, comfort, and brand image.

Price of the Audi A6 e-tron in Brazil and Package of the Performance Black Version

Audi has confirmed the sale of the A6 Sportback e-tron in a single Performance Black version for R$ 649,990. The strategy simplifies the configuration and concentrates high-level equipment, such as Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system with 705 W, advanced driving assistants, and ambient lighting.

The model’s cabin is a showcase of screens, featuring an 11.9″ display, a central infotainment of 14.5″, and an additional 10.9″ display oriented towards the passenger, a feature that the brand has been highlighting in the new generation of its electric vehicles. The setup is complemented by a head-up display and adaptive cruise control and autonomous braking assistance.

Another factor that influences the purchasing decision is the after-sales coverage. According to specialized reports, the A6 e-tron offers 4 years of warranty for the vehicle and 8 years for the battery, aligning with the standards of the premium electric segment.

Real Range of the A6 e-tron on Inmetro is 445 km

The official range of 445 km comes from the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV), a reference from Inmetro for the national market. This number uses conservative criteria compared to the European WLTP, which tends to align with expectations for real-world consumption on mixed routes in Brazil.

In practice, the range varies with speed, terrain, temperature, and air conditioning use. In urban areas, regeneration can enhance efficiency, while on highways, consumption increases with higher average speeds. Local automotive media emphasize that the thermal management and aerodynamics of the A6 help preserve range.

It is worth noting that 445 km is a reliable reference for planning, especially if you map out charging stops along the route and use the most efficient driving mode when necessary.

Fast Charging of 270 kW and AC Charging of 11 kW

The A6 e-tron has an 800 V architecture and accepts up to 270 kW in DC. According to Audi, this enables charging from 10 to 80% in approximately 21 minutes, provided the station offers compatible power output. For everyday use, this time allows for short stops on long trips.

At home, AC charging of up to 11 kW is the most recommended. Under this condition, the sedan replenishes charge more slowly and economically, preserving the battery in daily use. The recommendation is to schedule overnight charges to always leave with a comfortable state of charge.

Since not every route has 270 kW charging stations, it is advisable to check in advance the available power and connector standard. Even so, the car is compatible with different power levels and manages charging curves well to maintain safety and performance.

Performance and Rear-Wheel Drive: 367 hp, 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 s and PPE Platform

The rear electric setup delivers 367 hp and 57.6 kgfm of torque, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 s and a top speed limited to 210 km/h. This is more than enough performance for overtaking and highway use, with immediate responses typical of electric motors.

A curious highlight is the rear-wheel drive. Unlike other Audis sold here, the A6 e-tron in this configuration does not use all-wheel drive, which contributes to a more engaging driving feel and less mechanical loss.

The technical base is the PPE platform, developed in partnership within the group and aimed at next-generation electric vehicles, enabling the 800 V architecture and efficiency gains. Local publications also mention the aerodynamic coefficient of 0.21, the lowest in the brand’s history, as a key factor for contained consumption.

Technology That Changes Usage, Virtual Mirrors, and Photocromic Roof

The virtual mirrors replace mirrors with cameras and high-definition screens on the doors. In addition to the futuristic touch, this feature helps reduce aerodynamic drag. In Brazil, this item is optional, with media reporting an additional cost for the evaluated units.

Another major draw is the photocromic panoramic roof. Without a physical curtain, it allows adjusting opacity by segments at the touch of a button, without the need to close, controlling brightness and temperature inside the cabin. It’s a solution that enhances the perception of technology and comfort during travels.

In addition to this, the sedan offers a wide range of active assistance, including adaptive cruise control, collision alerts, and automatic braking, composing a coherent set with the premium proposal.

Dimensions, 502-Liter Trunk, and Interior with 3 Screens

With 4.93 m in length, 1.92 m in width, and 2.95 m in wheelbase, the A6 e-tron is a large sedan. The 502-liter trunk and the 27-liter frunk strengthen its family and travel vocation, while the sportback shape eases access.

The dimensions appear with slight variations between sources as they involve width with or without mirrors, but dealerships and the press converge on the above specs. For the buyer, what matters is that there is ample interior space and versatility for luggage.

The finish blends leather, metal, and ambient lighting, and the trio of screens integrates the infotainment system with quick responses and smartphone integration. It’s the type of cabin that communicates technology without sacrificing the traditional comfort of the brand.
