The Shipyard Located in the State of Santa Catarina of Oceana Offshore Was Sold to Marine Systems Through Its Subsidiary Aliança S.A
Oceana Offshore, a company operating in the logistics market for offshore exploration and production, has concluded the sale of the Oceana shipyard, located in Itajaí, in the State of Santa Catarina, to Marine Systems, one of the world’s leading naval systems suppliers. The contract between the companies was signed in May but received approval from the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) only in June.

Oceana Offshore stated that “This operation is in line with the strategy of the CBO Group and its subsidiaries to prioritize activities related to the operation of offshore support vessels, with investments in acquisitions of operational vessels for the expansion and updating of its fleet.”

Oceana Offshore was founded in 2011 by the Pátria Infrastructure Private Equity Fund to operate in the logistics and support sector for offshore oil exploration and production. The operations are vertically integrated with a shipyard.
