AgroBetel Mobilizes Over 320 Truck Trips and One Hundred Employees in Record Operation That Reinforces the Weight of Brazilian Cattle Exports

The export of live cattle has once again shown its importance for Brazilian livestock in 2025. The sector, which drives billions and ensures access to strategic markets, recorded 487.6 thousand heads sent abroad in the first half, a 47.1% increase compared to 2024.

This growth reinforces the confidence of ranchers and companies in the segment.

Unprecedented Operation in Ibitinga

The highlight of the week came from Ibitinga (SP), where AgroBetel carried out a shipment considered historic.

In just four days, more than 15 thousand cattle, weighing between 420 and 640 kg, were prepared and transported to Iraq.

To meet the goal, the company mobilized an impressive logistics operation.

It required 320 trips by cattle trucks, driven by 150 drivers. The operation also had over 100 employees, divided into 24-hour shifts.

All the cattle were sent to the Port of São Sebastião, from where they departed on a ship prepared for the activity.

Well-Being of the Cattle Ensured

According to the company, the animals boarded specific vessels equipped with feeding and hydration systems.

The crew was trained to handle the needs of the herd, with veterinary monitoring throughout the journey.

The administrative manager of AgroBetel, Filippo Zonno Pinto da Costa, highlighted the team’s dedication: “It was four intense days, from Tuesday to Friday, with 15 to 16 thousand animals boarded. A wartime operation, organized to meet the required standards and with safety.”

In addition to its economic weight, the shipment follows national and international regulations. The requirements include well-being protocols and constant monitoring, a practice that ensures the acceptance of Brazilian cattle in markets like the Arab and Turkish.

Therefore, the sector remains competitive and respected.

Outlook for the Year

Scot Consultoria assesses that the future of exports will depend on maintaining Turkish demand, the interest of Arab countries, and Brazilian logistical efficiency.

The projections are optimistic. If the pace is maintained, Brazil could match the mark of 1 million heads exported in 2025, achieved the previous year.

This scenario shows that the national livestock industry remains strong in the international market.
