Naval College Vacancies Will Be for Men and Women. Those Approved in the Public Competition Will Receive a Salary of R$ 1,398.30 per Month
The Naval College, a high school institution of the navy, is offering vacancies for women for the first time. Out of the 129 vacancies available in the public competition, 12 are for women. The registration for the Naval College public competition will take place between March 21 and April 24 of this year.

To participate in the public competition, interested men and women must follow the following prerequisites:
- Be a natural-born Brazilian, of both sexes;
- Not be married or in a stable union and not have children, remaining so throughout the entire period subject to the regulations of the Naval College;
- Be at least 15 years old and under 18 years of age on June 30, 2023;
- Have completed, or be in the process of completing, the 9th year of elementary school;
- Have good behavioral history appropriate for a future Navy Officer;
- Have legal guardian authorization for incorporation into the Navy;
- Not have been disqualified for insufficient grades or for disciplinary infractions incompatible with Officer status in previous Officer Formation Courses or Application Stages;
- Pay the registration fee or request a waiver;
- Have a registration in the Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF);
- Have an original official identification document, in physical format, with a signature and photograph that can be recognized;
- Be at least 1.54m tall and no taller than 1.95m;
- Comply with other instructions specified for the present public competition.
Students at the Naval College spend three years at the institution and undergo both naval military training and high school education. During these three years, students will receive a monthly salary of R$1,398.30.

Stages of the Naval College Public Competition
The Naval College public competition will be conducted through objective tests, to be held on July 2 and 3. Additionally, the approved men and women will be called for the Complementary Events (EVC):
- Verification of Biographical Data (VDB);
- Health Inspection (IS);
- Entrance Physical Aptitude Test (TAF-i);
- Psychological Evaluation (AP);
- Document Verification (VD);
- Procedure for Heteroidentification Complementary to Self-Declaration (PH).
Men and women interested in participating in the Naval College public competition must access the Navy’s website, fill out the registration form, and pay a registration fee of R$100 by May 4, 2022. The Naval College is located in Angra dos Reis, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
