Eletronuclear Contest Has Openings for Systems Analysts, Technicians, Lawyers, and Administrators

Eletronuclear, the nuclear energy extension of Eletrobras, has open positions for its contest. The vacancies are for systems analysts, and the goal of the notice is to strengthen the workforce for the reopening of the Angra 3 nuclear power plant construction in Angra dos Reis (RJ). In the contest, there are two positions for systems analysts classified as being of higher education level, with a salary of approximately R$ 7,4 thousand. For those selected, Eletronuclear will offer employment within the CLT labor regulations. All submitted resumes that are not admitted will be used by the company to create a reserve list, in order to call these professionals when new positions are available.

For operational positions at the middle level, such as safety technician, in electromechanics and chemistry, the registration fee for the contest is 100 reais. For higher-level positions, such as systems analyst, communication, administrator, or lawyer, the registration fee is 150 reais.

According to information from Agência Brasil released by Pedro Knoth in an article for the website Tecnoblog, participants of the contest who are admitted by Eletronuclear may be called within up to two years, depending on the validity of the notice. The summons may be postponed for another two years, as it varies according to the demands in the Angra dos Reis units or other locations.

For the two highlighted positions of systems analysts, the requirement is proof of higher education in the courses of Systems Analysis, Computer Science, or Information Systems. The courses must be officially recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and the professional must be registered with the “competent class body.” In addition, both positions will receive a salary of R$ 7,382.28, and professionals will be directed to Eletronuclear facilities in Angra dos Reis.

One of the positions for systems analysts is aimed at working with “Applications and Security in ICT.” The selected candidate will participate in the software development cycle and the review of SQL Server database systems. According to Eletronuclear, the service requires process improvement and inspection of goods and services contracts, as well as customization of the company’s infrastructure.

The second vacancy for this position is related to technical support in ICT and information security auditing. Thus, the hire will oversee the network and data protection of Eletronuclear’s database, using the corporate software SAP.

The contest exam is scheduled to take place on May 15, but it may be subject to changes in date due to the pandemic. It will cover content in Portuguese, English, and specific questions from each area of application. Considering the possibility of a change in date, Eletronuclear recommends that participants regularly check the contest schedule, available on the organizer’s website.

For the systems analysts, the exam will include specific questions on algorithms and programming, databases, project management, and information and personal data security.

Registrations for the Contest

Registrations will remain open until March 21 and will be made through the website of Fundação Cesgranrio. The acceptance of exemption requests for the fee will end today, 04/03, at 11:59 PM Brasília time. The final results will be announced on June 30.
