A Petrobras has opened 42 positions for young apprentices in Salvador with applications from October 6 to 12, aimed at courses in electrotechnics and apprenticeship in support and maintenance operator for microcomputers and local networks.
The selected candidates will have a 4-hour daily shift, from Monday to Friday, remuneration equivalent to the minimum wage (R$ 1,518) and benefits such as 13th salary, vacation, transportation voucher, and FGTS.
This initiative is part of the Petrobras Young Apprentice Program, which seeks to promote professional training and social inclusion for adolescents and young people.

Free Technical Courses in Salvador
The opportunities in the capital city are geared towards two main areas: electrotechnics and support and maintenance operator for microcomputers and local networks.
The classes are conducted in partnership with Senai, responsible for the theoretical part of the training.
The content combines in-person and practical classes, aimed at preparing the apprentices for the job market.
Duration, Workload, and Benefits
The contract has a total duration of 21 months and a weekly workload of 20 hours, divided into four hours per day.
Petrobras informs that the participant receives full minimum salary, 13th salary, vacation, transportation voucher, and FGTS deposit.

Additionally, there is the possibility of joining the Petros supplementary pension plan and participating in physical activities promoted by the company.
Who Can Participate
To apply, you must be between 14 years and 21 years 7 months at the time of registration.
The maximum age does not apply to candidates with disabilities.
It is also required to have completed fundamental education or regular attendance in high school.
Those who have not yet completed their studies must present proof of enrollment and school attendance, and the apprenticeship course must occur in a different shift from regular classes.
Program with Quotas and Social Inclusion
The selection process reserves 20% of the spots for people with disabilities, 30% for black (African and mixed-race), indigenous and quilombola individuals — distributed as 25%, 3%, and 2%, respectively —, 15% for adolescents emerging from child labor or analogous to slavery, and 10% for adolescents in institutional, family care, or socio-educational measures.
The general competition represents the remaining 25%.

Selection Process Stages

The Petrobras Young Apprentice Program has Senai as a technical partner, responsible for theoretical and practical training.
In this edition, 30 vocational courses are offered, comprising 18 basic apprenticeship and 12 technical level courses, divided into 39 classes throughout the country.
