The Federal Police Has Just Made a Request for a New Public Competition with More Than 730 Vacancies. The PF Competition Promises to Generate Opportunities for High School and Higher Education in the Administrative Sector.
Great news for those waiting for the Federal Police Administrative Public Competition with vacancies for high school and higher education candidates. The agency has made a request to the federal government to conduct a new announcement that promises to provide 734 vacancies. The request was sent by the Director-General of the Federal Police Department, Delegate Andrei Augusto Passos Rodrigues, where 559 of the opportunities are for high school positions and 175 for higher education.
What Positions Will Be Open in the PF Competition?
According to the document requested by the director of the Federal Police, the more than 700 opportunities are divided among the following positions:
High School
- Administrative Agent – 559 vacancies.
Higher Education
- Social Worker – 13 vacancies;
- Administrator – 26 vacancies;
- Dentist (30 hours) – 1 vacancy;
- Social Communication Technician – 3 vacancies;
- Pharmacist – 2 vacancies;
- Nutritionist – 1 vacancy;
- Educational Affairs Technician – 13 vacancies;
- Dentist (40 hours) – 11 vacancies;
- Nurse – 3 vacancies;
- Psychologist – 6 vacancies;
- Librarian – 1 vacancy;
- Economist – 3 vacancies;
- Doctor – 70 vacancies;
- Archivist – 9 vacancies;
- Accountant – 9 vacancies;
- Statistician – 4 vacancies.
In the request, Rodrigues emphasized that the proposal does not imply any change in the organizational structure of the agency and that, if the Federal Police public competition is authorized, the entity commits to not open new announcements while the competition is valid.

The mission to hold the PF Administrative competition has been ongoing since 2022, when the agency requested a selection process to replenish its staff.
In March of this year, the director informed that, in addition to requesting a new competition for the administrative sector, he would also seek to call the surplus candidates from the selection process that took place in 2021 for the positions of Agent, Fingerprint Technician, Clerk, and Delegate.
Check the Salaries Offered to Approved Candidates in the PF Competition
The candidates approved in the Federal Police public competition will enter the agency with adjusted salaries. This is because the project that increases the remuneration of federal servers by 9% has been sanctioned. The starting salary for the positions will be:
- Doctor 40h: R$ 8,547.72;
- Higher Education: R$ 6,296.35;
- High School: R$ 5,173.31;
- Doctor 20h: R$ 5,320.80.
In addition to the above-mentioned salaries, the server is also entitled to a food allowance of R$ 658. It is important to note that the Federal Police is seeking to restructure the existing positions. This measure will impact not only the positions of Agent, Delegate, Clerk, Expert, and Fingerprint Technician but also the administrative sector.
However, it is important to emphasize that this is merely a proposal, meaning it is not yet certain that the changes will be made. If the restructuring is approved, the amounts for the base salary and bonuses will be as follows:
High School
Starting at R$ 7,016.67 (basic salary of R$ 3,508.33 and GDATPF of R$ 3,508.34).
Higher Education
Starting at R$ 10,249.70 (basic salary of R$ 5,124.85 and GDATPF of R$ 5,124.85).
Doctor 40h
Starting at R$ 10,249.70 (basic salary of R$ 5,124.85 and GDM-PECPF of R$ 5,124.85).
Doctor 20h
Starting at R$ 5,124.89 (basic salary of R$ 2,562.46 and GDM-PECPF of R$ 2,562.46).
Details About the Last Public Competition of the PF
The last announcement for the support sector, that is, entering the administrative career, was published 10 years ago. At that time, vacancies were made available in positions for high school and higher education, which validity ended in June 2018.
According to Rodrigues, in this context, and considering the perspective of a reduction in workforce in the coming years due to retirements, resignations, and vacancies, there is a necessity for opening a selection process for the agency, in order to allow the entry of servers in administrative careers to avoid the paralysis of PF activities.
