The Average Price of Hydrated Ethanol Rose in 17 States in the Week Ending Saturday (4), According to Data from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
Being compiled by AE-Taxas, at gas stations that were sources of research across the country, observed by the ANP, the average price of ethanol rose 1.06% in the week compared to the same period the previous week, from R$ 3.78 to R$ 3.82 per liter, with 5 states and also the Federal District experiencing price drops, while prices remained unchanged in four other states.
In São Paulo, the main producing and consuming state, which also has more stations evaluated, its average price rose about 1.08% in the week, going from R$ 3.69 to R$ 3.73.
The Federal District recorded the largest percentage drop in prices this week, of 2.06%, decreasing from R$ 3.89 to R$ 3.81. Mato Grosso was the state with the largest price increase in the week, of about 5.97%, going from R$ 3.35 to R$ 3.55 per liter.

Ethanol Registers a 4.5% Increase in Average Price
According to the surveys, the minimum price recorded in the week for ethanol, at a particular gas station, was R$ 3.15 per liter, in São Paulo, with a monthly comparison showing that the average price of the biofuel in the country fell by 1.29%.
The state with the highest increase during this period was Bahia, with a 12.38% rise, going from R$ 4.04 to R$ 4.54 per liter. The largest percentage decrease was observed in the Federal District, -7.52%, falling from R$ 4.12 to R$ 3.81.
