City Hall of Angra dos Reis in the South of the State of Rio de Janeiro Will Open the Second Notice for a Public Competition Addressed to the Health Sector

The city hall of Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, is preparing a second competition that will offer positions for the health sector. At the moment, the Municipal Health Department is assessing how many positions and jobs will be available. “The City Hall of Angra, through the Health Department, is currently working on assessing the number of professionals, by category, based on current regulations, for the public competition. After completing this phase, the financial impact work will begin,” says the mayor of Angra dos Reis, Fernando Jordão.

Only after the budget approval can the new competition for this city be opened. If the procedures proceed normally and without unforeseen events, the selection may occur still in 2020.

When the competition is authorized, the next step will be the formation of an organizing committee responsible for drafting the edital and for the hiring process of the examining body. This second notice should cover specialties such as those of physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, among others.

About the First Competition of Angra dos Reis

Currently, the Angra dos Reis competition is underway, opened in October 2019, to fill 228 vacancies. The selection offers immediate opportunities as well as a formation for a reserve list, in positions across all levels of education, with initial earnings ranging between R$1,298.26 and R$3,239.06.

For the elementary level, 13 vacancies were offered for the position of special education monitor, with earnings of R$1,298.26.

For the high school level, the notice provides 19 vacancies for student inspector, two for reserve list for caregiver, and 180 vacancies for teacher I from 1st to 5th grade. In all these cases, salaries will be R$2,518.88.

Higher education: the competition will have six vacancies for teacher II – (to teach Art) and eight vacancies for specialist in sports. The earnings for those approved in this case will be R$3,239.06.

Those qualified in the positions of teacher I and II, who rank in up to six times and ten times the number of vacancies, respectively, will be called for title assessments. The maximum score for this exam is 10 points.

Last Tuesday, the 14th, the preliminary results of the objective tests, applied in December 2019, were announced. Those approved in this stage had to achieve at least 50% of the points in the exam.
