City Hall of São Luís, Sinduscon, FIEM, and FUMPH Are Offering Free Courses with Scholarships of R$ 300 for Students Who Want to Enter the Civil Construction Field
The City Hall of São Luís, in partnership with Sinduscon, FUMPH, and FIEMA, is accepting applications for the selection process for 36 vacancies for free courses in the civil construction sector. The opportunities are part of the Canteiro Escola Program, which aims to train labor for civil construction while preserving cultural assets protected by law.

36 vacancies are being offered in free courses for Real Estate Painter and Finishing Mason. To compete for the opportunities provided by the City and Sinduscon, candidates must have completed elementary school.
Participants will also receive a scholarship of R$ 300, in addition to transportation vouchers, clothing, and meal vouchers. Each of the free courses has a workload of 400 hours.

Classes are expected to start in the second half of November this year. The civil construction courses will be offered in the morning and afternoon, and the institution responsible will be the National Service for Industrial Learning (Senai). At the end, those who pass will receive a professional qualification certificate from the institutions involved in the project.
Understand If You Can Participate in the Free Courses
To participate, candidates must be at least 18 years old and have completed elementary school. For both free courses offered, candidates must prove a minimum of three months of experience in the position on their work permit.
The first 36 competitors who registered for both courses will be classified. The following documents will be required:
- Identity Card;
- School Transcript;
- Proof of Completion of Elementary School;
- Proof of professional experience in the desired position.
The remaining registered participants will be placed on a waiting list and may be called for the project if some of the other candidates withdraw or abandon the courses. The list of approved candidates will be released on November 10, on the FIEMA website, and on the channels of the Canteiro Escola Program partners.
How to Enroll?
To register, you must access the FIEMA website by November 5. If the candidate is classified, they must go to the Senai-MA school at BR 135 Km 5 – Industrial District, and present the documents mentioned earlier to complete the enrollment process.
If those classified for the free courses from the City and Sinduscon do not show up to enroll, the opportunity will be lost. The partners of the Canteiro Escola Program, FIEMA and SINDUSCON, will be responsible for purchasing and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the free courses, following current legislation and Senai guidance. The theoretical classes will take place at the Program headquarters, located at Rua Portugal, n° 152, Praia Grande, Historical Center of São Luís.
