Debt Renegotiation Drive 2025 Begins on March 1, Offering Opportunities for Consumers to Settle Debts with Discounts and Easier Terms.
The Negotiation and Financial Guidance Drive of the banks begins on March 1. The action, which involves more than 160 financial institutions and partner entities, will run until March 31. During this period, consumers will be able to renegotiate various bank debts, with special conditions and facilitated service.
According to the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban), it will be possible to renegotiate debts such as credit card, overdraft, and payroll loans. The debts must be overdue and cannot have assets given as collateral or be time-barred.
The drive is part of the fixed calendar of banks, held annually in March and November since 2019. Since then, 33 million contracts have been renegotiated.

Check Your Pending Issues Before Negotiating
For those who wish to check their debts before renegotiating, the Registrato system from the Central Bank can be a useful tool. It provides access to the Loans and Financing Report (SCR), which details the debts in the consumer’s name.
The drive is a joint action of Febraban, the Central Bank of Brazil, the National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon), and Procons. The initiative aims to offer real opportunities for Brazilians to organize their financial lives and get out of debt.
The last relevant information is that the drive has become a national reference in debt renegotiation, establishing itself as an essential resource for consumers’ financial recovery.
Detailed information about the Drive, including step-by-step instructions for negotiations and the complete list of participating entities, is available on the Drive page on the Meu Bolso em Dia portal of Febraban.
