PRIO, the largest independent oil and gas company in Brazil, has opened applications for an offshore Installation Manager Offshore (OIM).

The opportunity, announced this Thursday (10/09/2025), is for on-site work in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), and applications can be submitted until December 8, 2025.

The position is permanent and aimed at experienced professionals who wish to work on offshore units.

What an Offshore Installation Manager Does at PRIO

The selected professional will be responsible for leading the entire embedded operation, being the highest authority on board.

Among their duties are ensuring the integrity of people, assets, and the environment, as well as compliance with national and international regulatory and environmental standards.

Additionally, the Offshore Installation Manager should translate the company’s strategic guidelines into operational plans, supervise areas such as production, maintenance, logistics, and emergency response, and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure operational continuity.

PRIO highlights that the professional will be a key player in analyzing performance indicators, using Business Intelligence (BI) tools and integrated management systems to enhance results and reduce costs.

Requirements and Qualifications Required for the Position at PRIO

To apply for the position at PRIO, it is desirable that the candidate has a degree in Engineering, preferably in the areas of Production, Mechanical, Naval, or Petroleum, and active registration with CREA.

Specific certifications for the offshore environment, such as CBSP (Basic Platform Safety Course), HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training), NR-35, and NR-37, are also required.

Proven experience in managing offshore operations, maritime logistics, industrial maintenance, and strategic planning is essential.

The company values candidates with certifications in QSMS, environmental management, and knowledge of Brazilian Navy regulations, ANP, IBAMA, IMO, and ISM Code, in addition to familiarity with tools like Power BI, Tableau, and corporate ERP.

The selection process consists of seven stages, ranging from initial registration to final hiring.
